Rockville, MD USA – November 11, 2016 Media Cybernetics, global deconvolution and image analysis leader, is proud to announce the introduction of a GPU-based deconvolution module, now available for the latest version of AutoQuant X3 (AQX3). Go to www.AutoQuant.com to find out how AutoQuant with GPU Deconvolution can benefit your lab.
SAVE TIME AND INCREASE PERFORMANCE
Deconvolution has long been a powerful image processing tool to increase contrast and resolution in captured images, by removing distortions generated by the optics in the imaging platform. Generating crisp and sharper images for analysis seems like a benefit for every laboratory, but there has always been a trade off with the time involved to generate those results.
That is until the advent of Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) based deconvolution, which utilizes the thousands of processors available on the graphics card to drive an increase in processing performance and decrease the time involved by an average of six (6) to ten (10) times, when compared with the standard deconvolution process. This is especially noticeable with larger data sets that can take hours with conventional deconvolution, but can be done in minutes with GPU deconvolution.
THE STANDARD JUST GOT BETTER
AutoQuant X3, the leading software for deconvolution, is now available to utilize the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) to deliver an increase in performance and drastically lower your deconvolution times when compared to the standard AutoQuant platform. The new GPU module delivers the same high standards of quality and ease of use that is inherent with our AutoQuant software.
“With the AutoQuant GPU module, we’re able to take the same easy-to-use, yet powerful deconvolution product that our users expect, and take it to a whole new level of performance”, stated Andy Molnar, Senior Software Engineer.
“The AutoQuant GPU Processing modules are simple and cost effective additions to our current AutoQuant X3 platform, providing not only an increase in performance but also a cost effective path for customers interested in adding GPU capabilities to their labs.” stated Anthony Santerelli, Director of Product Marketing.
AVAILABLE CONFIGURATIONS
Whether a researcher is using standard fluorescence imaging, multi-photon confocal, or spinning disk confocal, AutoQuant X3 GPU has a module that will address your application and research needs. The GPU module is available in either the widefield, confocal, or combined as a single module.
