Angiogenesis (Tube Formation)
Angiogenesis is the formation and remodeling of new blood vessels. Experimental cultured cell-based models to test the effects of agonists on this process are an essential element of numerous research areas including oncology, developmental biology, wound healing, dermatology, peripheral and coronary vascular disease, hematology and ophthalmology (Ucuzian and Greisler 2007). Such assays generally involve the seeding of endothelial cells onto plastic culture dishes that have been coated with adhesive proteins or a gel made of either collagen, fibrin, or Matrigel (Vailhé et a. 2001).
The Image-Pro Angiogenesis protocol makes the analysis of your experimental models easy. You can analyze large datasets automatically with little to no image analysis experience while finding vessels with a pre-trained deep learning model.
