Media Cybernetics & Image-Pro® Updates Support for JAI Family Capture Interface

Media Cybernetics implements support for the AP-3200T and GO-5100C Cameras.

ROCKVILLE, MD, November 13, 2018 — Media Cybernetics is announcing support for the AP-3200T and the GO-5100C capture devices from JAI.  Expanding the supported devices of the Image-Pro Capture Module (300-001) provides more options to our customer that can better suit their application needs.

JAI is a manufacturer of high quality, industrial-grade cameras for the transportation, food & beverage, aerospace, medical and scientific markets.

The GO-5100C-USB is a compact industrial area scan camera delivering an excellent blend of size, versatility, and performance, all at an entry-level price. It delivers 5-megapixel raw Bayer color output at up to 74 fps while offering exceptionally low-noise image quality for a wide range of applications.

The Apex AP-3200T-USB is a 3-CMOS prism-based industrial R-G-B area scan camera providing better color fidelity and spatial precision than traditional Bayer color cameras. The camera is built around the PregiusTM IMX265 1/1.8 inch sensor featuring 2064 x 1544 pixels and pixel sizes of 3.45 µm x 3.45 µm. The USB3 Vision interface offers excellent plug and play compatibility while delivering 3 x 3.2 megapixels at 38.3 frames/second.
