Former General Manager to Steer Media Cybernetics Through Next Phase of Aggressive Growth
Media Cybernetics, Inc., a leading image analysis software company in life science and industrial markets since the late 1990’s, announced the appointment of Nick Beavers as President. The appointment comes after another strong year in which the company grew in market share and profitability. Most recently, Nick has served as the company’s General Manager since 2016 and has been instrumental in leading Media Cybernetics through a growth transformation into vertical markets.

Since joining the company in 2008, Nick has spearheaded major strategic and technical shifts across the company’s portfolio of products. Early on he managed the company’s globally recognized AutoQuant product line, successfully growing the business and driving innovation in the field. He moved into sales leadership, first managing sales in the Americas and later international before being identified as General Manager. Recent success has been derived from the unification of offerings into a single software platform, named Image-Pro, being offered with a series of modules and partnerships designed to deliver intuitive image analysis for a variety of markets. Nick has earned a reputation as a trusted leader in the organization with experience encompassing product management, business development, operations and finance.
