Cell Count (Fluorescence)

Counting cells is something that needs to be done frequently by researchers to test the effects of agonists or experimental conditions on cell survival or proliferation. Manual counting is both tedious and error prone (Morelli et al. 2021).

The Image-Pro Cell Count Protocol allows analysis of large volumes of data in complex formats such as multi-well plates with little to no Image-Analysis experience. The protocol is compatible with threshold segmentation, machine learning segmentation and deep learning segmentation with a choice of pre-trained fluorescent whole cell or fluorescent nucleus models.
